The 2026 Fuchs Memorial Award
To be Awarded at the 12th International Aerosol Conference, Xian, China
The Fuchs Memorial Award Committee invites nominations for the 2026 Award, to be presented at the Twelfth International Aerosol Conference in Xian, China, August 30 – September 5, 2026.
This award, established in honor of the late Professor Nikolai Albertovich Fuchs (1895-1982), is given every four years in recognition of exceptionally meritorious research contributions to the field of aerosol science and technology. The award is intended as a continuing recognition of Professor Fuchs’ contributions to the international scientific community, as well as a means of encouraging the same high standards among contemporary scientists in conducting aerosol research.
The regulations and procedures are published on the IARA Web site. Questions concerning the award can be directed to the Award Committee Chair, Pratim Biswas. The deadline for nominations is April 3, 2026. The nominating materials, which must include a nominating letter, CV and at least three and up to six supporting letters, should be submitted electronically by email as a single pdf file to the Award Committee Chair by the deadline date. Nominators will receive a return acknowledgement email from the Award Committee Chair to confirm receipt.
